I can't believe this - criticism? About Hem?
I'll admit the tie is a bit too tight for anything I'd wear.
So, I think I will change the title, to Ernest At Home.
Don't you like the beret at least?

Hey Paul, how is it going? No visits for a while & even Ame's come by looking for you & Carlos.

I have to tell you, when I saw this picture, I thought stright away of a well-known Portuguese singer by the name of Vitorino. He has never knowingly been seen without the black beret, or his moustache.
I couldn't have imagined that Vitorino could have anything much in common with Hem, but there you go!
yes, a strange photo indeed...

thank you for your passage on my blog. does question what everyone have to pose to you, why a blog on Hemingway?

This Weekend, I propose on my photo blog on Martel. Before and After.
And amusing, I start with Delfour-Couderc drapery, it was the house of the late arrears Grandparent of Olivier (DP Evry)
(A friend, it is him which me advises to make a blog)

Hi Paul,
Another nice photo from those nostalgic days. Last year I searched for that address but unfortunately 113 is now an ugly building.

Handsome little devil, isn't he ;-)

Yes, at that time, you'd never waste film - it was always a big production and you'd be at your best and posing...

I really like this photo. I think it looks good in black and white. Not sure it would have had the same effect if it would have been in color. There's a mysterous look about him.
