This painting is very good
Vincent van Gogh's masterpieces are always inspirational. he had a mind of his own and i respect him for that. :)
Hi Elwin, he was unique!
Cool, any idea what's the current price for this now ;)
Hello Shionge, lol, no idea on the price! You may need to get a weekend job if you really want it :-)
Yo Paul, I appreciate art in any form but to pay for one my pocket is not deep enough even if I have multi jobs :)
Nice roof line art from Van Gogh...really great colors ;-)
Thanks for stopping by!
Everything is good in Southern California...
How about you? Hoping it's a little warmer!
Starting a new design job next week...thankful for the work!
Take Care,
Kay
well. not many people appreciate his talent while he was still alive...
Yes, Elwin, I don't think that he sold any paintings while he was alive!
See the Altman film "Vincent and Theo."
Ah, Pareee.
The roofs of Paris fascinated me during my first trip to that magical city, and they still do. Another good choice to highlight an important part of Paris.
Hi Paul!
Sorry I couldn’t visit you for the last two weeks! I’m trying to catch-up and see the wonders you have around!
And you have Van Gogh! Excellent!!
Meanwhile, one of the most beautiful Forts in India waits you and your comments at Blogtrotter: – The Amber Fort! Enjoy and have a great weekend!
He has captured the beauty of the city from the sky. . .I'd love to fly over it in a small plane a~la "Out of Africa" style!

Hi Moi!!
This painting "Roofs In Paris" could possibly be from the roof of the house at 54, rue Lepic in Montmartre where Vincent lived with his brother Theo. It was 1886 when they moved there. Because they were now living together, there was no need for letters and so we know little about this period of Vincent's life. Rue Lepic is a very lively street where one can meet the happy average French person enjoying their neighborhood. Yves Montand sang a song of the friendly Rue Lepic:

That last post was from Eric Hall - thanks for the info Eric!
